The magizoologist Newt Scamander is just passing through when magical creatures escape from his suitcase in New York, endangering the secrecy of American witches and wizards. But together with Jacob, a No-Maj (American for Muggle), and the two sisters Tina and Queenie Goldstein, he tries to recapture all the Fantastic Beasts before the MACUSA, the equivalent of the British Ministry of Magic, gets wind of it.
Newt's wand shows a lot of his own personality. The surface looks carved, which fits very well with his modest and uncomplicated nature, while a shell seems to be melted into the wand, reflecting Newt as a dreamer. Which Fantastic Beasts fan can resist this wand full of sympathy?
