Behind many Japanese licensed products stands a name that rarely appears on the front of the packaging: Sakami brings merchandise from Japan to Europe – from acrylic stands and plush to chopsticks. At Elbenwald this category gathers what the distributor carries for anime and kawaii fans, right across the licences. If you are looking for one particular fandom, you will often find it here somewhere between Hello Kitty and One Piece.
One Piece - Gomu Gomu Devil Fruit Japanese Wind Chime
Demon Slayer - Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado Chopsticks Set of 2
Sanrio - Kuromi Hello Kitty and Friends Tote Bag
Hello Kitty - My Melody Floral Garden Tote Bag
Hello Kitty and Friends - Cinnamoroll 3D Cushion
Hello Kitty and Friends - My Melody 3D Cushion
Sanrio - Kuromi Hello Kitty and Friends Plush Keychain
Sakami is a distributor, not a licensor: the company brings articles from Japanese rights holders into European retail – and helps shape what reaches the shelves here in the first place. The breadth is striking. Alongside heavyweights such as One Piece and Demon Slayer you will find kawaii lines around Sanrio as well as titles that are only just finding their audience.
The range relies less on textiles and more on things for the desk, the kitchen and the display cabinet: acrylic stands, keychains, cushions, towels, mugs, notebooks and chopsticks. Anyone who likes collectibles with a small footprint is in the right place. Newly arrived articles appear directly in this category, sortable by product type – the licences themselves also have pages of their own, such as Spy x Family. Larger statues and scale figures show up too, but they remain the exception in an otherwise compact programme.

Some names only become familiar once you turn the packaging over: Sakami is one of the distributors through which Japanese licensed goods find their way into European retail. For fans that means less import adventure and more available range – from the acrylic stand of a favourite character to the chopstick set that actually gets used every day. At Elbenwald this category bundles whatever reaches the shelf from the Sakami programme, across shonen hits, kawaii brands and current seasonal titles.
The mix. One delivery can hold figures for a tough shonen title next to pastel plush charms, and both have their audience. The cut of the range is just as characteristic: many small collectibles instead of large statues – acrylic stands, keychains, pins, stickers, plus everyday goods such as cushions, towels, notebooks and mugs. That makes the category a good address for everyone who wants to show their fandom without clearing out a display cabinet for it. And because the programme is so broadly stocked, a second look pays off even when the first one turned up nothing.
Mainly compact collectible and everyday articles for Japanese licences: acrylic stands, figures, keychains, plush, cushions, towels, mugs, notebooks, playing cards and chopsticks. Use the filters to narrow the range down by product type.
A distributor for merchandise from Japan: Sakami brings articles from Japanese rights holders into European retail. The licences themselves belong to the respective studios and publishers – Sakami makes sure the goods are available here.
The programme changes along with the licences. Regularly represented are the big shonen titles, the kawaii world around Hello Kitty and her friends, and current anime series from the running season.
The Sakami category is sorted by product type: acrylic stands and figures for the display cabinet, keychains for backpack and key ring, cushions and towels for the sofa. The morning coffee is taken care of by mugs, and for the desk there are notebooks, stickers and mouse pads.
The full overview of every series and figure comes from the Anime theme world. If you prefer things in pastel, stay with Sanrio and the world of Hello Kitty, Kuromi and My Melody.
