Together with his brother Kili, Fili was one of the youngest members of the company in The Hobbit. Yet they were in no way inferior to the twelve other dwarves and Bilbo Baggins; rather, they showed infinite courage - and paid for it with their lives when they wanted to defend their uncle Thorin Oakenshield in the Battle of the Five Armies.
