As the leader of your fleet, you must organize the crew, carry out successful Attack Runs, and in this way collect Target Points. Each player also has a so-called Defence Value, which he can use to deflect the imperialist attack on the way to the ventilation shaft. And then there is even the possibility to ask Obi-Wan Kenobi himself for help. The players who have collected at least four Target Points in previous attacks can take aim at the Death Star and try to destroy it. The player who succeeds first wins.
