Every eight years, the fantastic Witchlight Carnival comes to our world and delights one settlement after another. The owners, Mr. Witch and Mr. Light, are experts at thrilling performances. But there's more to this magical spectacle than meets the eye!
The carnival is a gateway to a fantastic Feywild domain unlike anything the material plane has to offer. But time has not been kind to this realm, and dark days lie ahead unless someone thwarts the nefarious plans of the Hourglass Coterie.
The Wild Beyond the Witchlight takes adventurers from the Witchlight Carnival to Prismeer, a Feywild domain of delight. Suitable for characters of levels 1 to 8. This book includes a poster map showing the carnival on one side and Prismeer on the other.
Explore the plane of the fey in the first official D&D adventure primarily set in the Feywild. The adventure begins in a campaign world of the Dungeon Master's choice. The Witchlight Carnival, which leads the characters into the Feywild, can be seamlessly incorporated into any campaign world.
Two new character backgrounds: Feylost (for characters originating from the Feywild) and Witchlight Hand (for characters working at the Witchlight Carnival). Two new races: Fey and Harengon, a race of humanoid rabbits. All encounters in the adventure include a non-combat option, allowing players to navigate the adventure through thought and role-playing.
Classic D&D characters from the 1980s return – including War Duke, Strongheart, and Kelek.
For ages 14 and up.
