The Birth of the Creeper
In 2009, the Survival Test mode of the game was released. This mode already included the well-known Zombies, Skeletons, and Creepers. However, the most popular creature likely came about by accident when a mishap occurred to the Minecraft developer. While creating a pig, he swapped the length and height, and voilà – the Creeper was born. The Creeper lives up to its name in more ways than one, as it not only looks frightening but also likes to sneak up on you and blow up a few blocks.
